Dubai, UAE: Al Tamimi & Company has won the Corporate Counsel’s Middle East Law Firm of the Year Award, underlining a strong year for the region’s largest law firm.
Al Tamimi was praised for its excellence in training and employee development schemes, with the judging panel praising the firm for “its commitment to the advancement of local legal talent and client care.”
Al Tamimi was also highly commended in the Corporate Team of the Year category, and shortlisted for six awards in total. The Corporate Counsel Middle East Awards, hosted by Legal Week and now in its fourth year, celebrates legal excellence in the Middle East and is open to in-house legal teams and law firms operating throughout the region.
Success at the awards ceremony follows a strong year for Al Tamimi. Over the last 12 months, the firm grew to over 600 employees and now has 52 partners, both being significant internal milestones for the company. The firm also expanded its operational presence by opening new offices in Cairo and Jeddah in 2015. Al Tamimi has cultivated a well-established track record in advising on high-profile IPOs over the past year, working on every listing in the UAE.
